This movie called The September Issue
is a documentary chronicling Vogue editter in Chief Anna's preparations for the 2007 september issue
When I only heard about this movie, and Anna Wintour, more like a fact that there is a harsh fashion magazine editter who is like a god of fashion in Vogue magazine editing position, I immediately remembered the movie "Devil wears Prada"
and I thought this documentary'd be just like that, about the harsh god of fashion who never smiles and never even speaks much actually like a devil, I thought the god Anna wintour would be like that harsh and even like emotionless kind of person lol
But I watched this documentary and she turned out to be such a friendly and nice person who smiles a lot still strict though ( some interviewer was saying everyone calls her an ice woman or something so it maybe true lol )
She still has a massive power in fashion industry and is a very authotised person but she wasnt devilish at all
I used to study Fashion Design at Tafe (Private College), worked with fashion professionals I think most of my classmates wanted to become something like fashion designer, stylist, fashion photographer sort of thing and they went to a fashion kind of school to study fashion design more professionally
We didn't do that too professional stuff there though, this documentary especially some fashion designing kind of scenes reminded me of doing that, Fashion Designing is something only creative people can do in my opinion, They have to be inspired by some particular thing and it was hell when they gave us some Motif kind of thing that we had to work with
I could never do fashion design, it's so hard and only a few people can do I believe.
it's not my kind of thing haha but I still enjoy watching fashion documentaries and fashion shows, and the fashion models
and this is the Vogue September issue 2007 I was surprised Anna Wintour used Sienna Miller for the cover page I don't think they would.., now
this magazine seriously has a ton of pages lol 840 pages
It actually was fun getting to know what fashion magazine editers do to make a magazine
and seeing the way they edit and put everything together,
I still think fashion is awesome, just I'm not good at it lol
