現代の紳士になる為の５つの教え。
当然ですが 私の教えではありません（汗）
現代のトップデザイナー トム・フォード氏が 男性に向けて
紳士とは かくあるべきだ、と言っている簡単な５項目を紹介します。
１、あなたが外出するときは あなたの出来る最高の着こなしをするべきです。
なぜならば それは あなたの周りの人達への尊敬を表す、ということです。
２、紳士たるもの 働かなければいけません。
でないと つまらないし 日々退屈です。
あなたは もっと情熱的であるべきで 従事すべきで 世の中に貢献するべきです。
３、マナーはとても重要で それが いつ適切なのかも実際に理解している、
ということです。
私は常に 女性の為にドアを開けるし コートも運ぶ、そして街では
必ず女性が内側を歩くようにしています。
そして ディナーの席では 人が来たり去ったりするときは
必ず自らも立つべきです。
４、うぬぼれたり 人種差別、性差別をしたり、人を経歴で判断してはいけません。
５、男性は 決して短パンで街に出てはいけません。
ビーチサンダルと短パン姿は 街には全く適しません。
短パンは テニスコートかビーチで穿くものです。

1. You should put on the best version of yourself when you go out in the world because that is a show of respect to the other people around you.
2. A gentleman today has to work. People who do not work are so boring and
are usually bored. You have to be passionate, you have to be engaged and you have to be contributing to the world.
3. Manners are very important and actually knowing when things are
appropriate. I always open doors for women, I carry their coat, I make sure that they’re walking on the inside of the street. Stand up when people arrive at and leave the dinner table.
4. Don’t be pretentious or racist or sexist or judge people by their background.
5. A man should never wear shorts in the city. Flip-flops and shorts in the city are never appropriate. Shorts should only be worn on the tennis court or on the beach.
大した内容ではなく 極めて普通の事のようですが
ＴＯＭ が言うだけで注目度は高いのかもしれません。
それだけ世界的に マナーやモラルが低くなっているのかも。。。
日本では 当てはまらない事もある、
