Summer is ending and I feel it was a special summer maybe because I spent it completely far from home or maybe because it's the last summer that we were waiting for Harry Potter in some way.
Harry Potter wasn't just a book for me it was something which near me to my little brother and sisters. it's a big age gap between me and them and I left home when they were little kids yet. last years in home I was so busy with studying and after that adopting myself with life in a prestige university and a new city I didn't had much time to be with them. it was end of the first year in university when by chance I read a little article about a book which has been able to make kids around the world crazy, Harry Potter
thinking about it now probably under the pressure of the strict university rules and the Iran society chaos I was yearning for something far from craziness of my everyday life. I bought the first book and read it fast through just a night, the book had me in the morning, I took my exams and took a flight for home to read the first book for my brother and sisters which were so young at the time to read it by themselves , and it becomes our summer story for that year and for many years coming.
my brother and sisters grown up and we start to talk together about our hopes and what gonna happen next...
sure there were many other books who catches our hearts time to time but we never stop talking about Harry Potter even when I was traveling abroad our my brother had hard time with my parents in home.Harry Potter and his world became ours.
my mom after reading Lord Of The Ring was always complaining that Harry's series is shallow and accuse us for waisting so much time and energy on it, actually I adore Gondalf the gray and Elfs and Habits and …. but we're talking about Harry and others as they were alive . a phrase like don't be like Severus, she's remembering me Lona lovegood,... became part of our everyday conversations,indeed you are free to admire beauty in any form but family is family.
in some way I felt lonely in this summer
