LindaM 4.0 out of 5 stars Good quality pant with nice styling I was looking for something to replace my never-ending supply of jeans. At 67, I thought it is time to move over into a casual pant that looked good, washed well and could be worn just about anywhere. I am really happy with this choice. The inseam is about 32" which is a little long, but after one washing, it decreased to about 31" The construction is good and they wear nicely. they wash up nicely and I put them in the dryer and they came out great - needs a light ironing because of the cotton content. I am a size 6 and after reading reviews, ordered an 8. Good choice as it fit perfectly. For the price, they are worth keeping around and I will buy more. Reviewed in Canada on July 17, 2018 |
Sandra 5.0 out of 5 stars Great pants! These pants are great for work. Lots of stretch while still looking professional. They fit a nice wide belt and are made of quality materials. I expect them to last a long time. I purchased one size up as other buyers had stated and they fit great. Reviewed in Canada on January 29, 2018 |
Amazon Customer 3.0 out of 5 stars Dickies women's pants I like the pants, they are good for work but I find them baggy around the crotch area. I was hoping that they wouldn't be and a more flattering fit but they do their job for work purposes Reviewed in Canada on November 15, 2019 |
Charcey 3.0 out of 5 stars Great product; doesn't fit The quality of the product is awesome (exactly what I was wanting) and they shipped in excellent time! Unfortunately, the sizing was wrong for me which is a reoccurring issue that frequently keeps me from shopping for cloths on line. What one company fits very well at an 18R another company is either too big or too small in that same 'size'. Very happy with the provider. Reviewed in Canada on January 29, 2016 |

Sherlock 2.0 out of 5 stars Not even close in size. I ordered a size 16 and they were WAY too small. I'll be returning them. I took my flexible measuring tape and decided to see what the pants actually measured compared to the sizing chart. Size 16R (that I received): Waist: 32" Hip (widest part): 37" What the SIZE CHART says for 16R: Waist: 35" Hip: 45" For your reference, here are MY measurements: Waist: 30.5" Widest part of hips: 45" In addition, I am 5'6", 160 lbs and muscular with some extra padding in the butt and thighs. I have wide hips so I usually buy pants labeled to fit in the hips and add darts to take in the waist. I couldn't even get these pants ON they were so small. As for the material, they seem well made and feel really nice to the touch. If they fit correctly I'm sure I'd love them. But be warned about the size. I was excited to try these pants on and the incorrect sizing was a big letdown. Due to how dramatic the difference in size is compared with the provided chart I'm not even sure which size I should order. Two stars for seeming well made and being constructed from a nice material, but minus 3 for being WAY off from the chart in both waist and hip. And FYI: the tag on the inside says 16R as well, not just the cardboard label shown in the image. Reviewed in the United States on January 3, 2019 |
Stella Scorp 5.0 out of 5 stars Soft and Flexible! Minimal Gaping! Wow! These pants feel smooth, have flexibility (I'm a pediatric therapist so I'm constantly moving), and minimal gaping when bending down. I'm 5'7, 45 hips, 37 waist, so pear shaped. I ordered sz 12 Regular and it's perfect! I wish it came in different colors! Reviewed in the United States on November 4, 2018 |
Kristen 5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect fit for women with curves These fit me like they were made for me. Thank you, thank you, thank you for making Dickies for curvy women!!! I needed these for catering because food wipes off easily and they are the perfect length with my hideous non-skid work shoes. I have wide hips and it is difficult to find pants that are wide enough in the hips but aren't gigantic in the butt and thighs. These are perfect (for me). I got a 12 and my hips are 45 inches wide and waist is 33 inches. Reviewed in the United States on December 11, 2017 |
Grdngoddess 4.0 out of 5 stars Comfortable I purchased these for work. I needed a pair of uniform pants that were designed for a woman's body. I am pleased. Im purchased a size 14 for a test run. I'm 5'7", 180-190. They fit my curves, do not gap in the back, have a bit of stretch, and 4 pockets. I purchased the 14, however I ordered more in a 16, for length. They shrink slightly, so I'm not worried they won't fit. Loose is better than squeezed, in my experience. You do need to wash them in cool water, the color faded slightly when I didn't follow directions...which is a talent of mine. Otherwise, they are good to go. Taking an iron to them, is no issue either. Hope this helps you. 2/5/21 Adendim-- I wear these pants daily for work...so they are constantly laundered, and sat in. I have a desk position, where I am constantly moving...if that makes sense. Anyway, due to my usage they have had a short life span...the colour has faded considerably and the eye piece of the clasp pulled right out of 3 of my 4 pairs. Also, some leg stitches popped. If you aren't abusing them daily as I have, they'd last longer. They have served their purpose. Reviewed in the United States on June 4, 2020 |
Britt 5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect work pants for plus sized ladies. I usually wear men's Dickies (as they are the only ones stores stock) but the waist is always too small and the legs are always huge (even though I've got really big legs). These curvy women's ones are amazing. I can't believe I've been wearing men's Dickies for 15 years when I could have been wearing these instead! They are so comfortable, the material is soft and light, unlike the burlap sack material men's are made of. The waist and legs stretch so I can actually sit down to do work. The only downside is the curvy option doesn't come in short, so the pants are around 8 inches too long for me. (I can hem them though). I'm 5'3" and around 190lbs and pretty evenly fat so the size 16 fits perfectly. Disregard that the model is not curvy. Also you cant really tell but these pants have front and back pockets that are very spacious (unlike a lot of women's pants). There's no side leg pocket in these or reinforced knees like the men's pants also. (so if you wanted to wear them for a delivery/warehouse etc job they might wear out quick). Boom Boom 5.0 out of 5 stars I never review products but.... After much research to find a good pair of pants that were comfortable I came across a review on these that ultimately convinced me to purchase them. I am not disappointed. I was looking for pants that would be appropriate for a deployed office environment. Which usually means sand colored to hide dust and comfortable with a nice fit. I am 5'6' with a significant waist to hip ratio. I have larger thighs also because I lift weights. I got a size 14 regular in these which is in line with my jean size. These pants provide a professional look with a great fit for a curvy stature. The stretch is just enough to make them comfortable, unlike some other "tactical" pants which provide no leeway in fit and usually run small. Kudos to Dickies on these winners. If I need more I will repurchase. :) Reviewed in the United States on October 29, 2015 |

Eugene 5.0 out of 5 stars Fits Perfect! I love these pants. And they dress up nice with a low heel booties for work. I get it ladies, it's hard to buy pants. I have pants in my closet ranging from 6-10; and I fit them all nicely. Unlike men's pants there is no consistency in size across brands and even styles. I also know we women can vary our weight depending on the stress at work/home. And I'm actually on the higher range of my typical weight. I consider myself a true curvy build; 5'7'' 160-170lb. Athletic build, coke-a-cola body shape, hips, and butt to match. And these fit perfectly. Overall, if you know your size and body type, these are the pants you've been looking for. Courtney 1.0 out of 5 stars Don't Trust the Sizing Chart First, when I ordered these, they took FOREVER to come in. I waited almost 2 weeks with prime shipping to get them. I ordered a size 16R in these, following the sizing chart they should have been snug but would definitely fit. When I finally got them weeks after ordering, I went to try them on and was instantly disappointed. I could barely even get them past my knees. The cardboard label and tag in the pants both said size 16R, but they couldn't have been bigger than a 6. Either someone accidentally misprinted a size 6 with a 1 infront, or their sizing is almost as ridiculous as the sizing on chinese bathing suits from Wish. I'm sending them back and want to order another pair, because the reviews of those who could get them on have been pretty good and I desperately need a good khaki for work. I guess we'll see if it happens again or not....fingers crossed! Reviewed in the United States on May 11, 2021 |
Natalie V. 5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Work Pants for Curvy Fit Needs I needed a pair of sturdy work pants as I support a manufacturing area. These are excellent and have become my favorite pair. The material is softer than the Dickies brand pant you get from WalMart and the quality is much better. For example, the lining of the pockets from the WalMart pair is white and this pair from Amazon has black on the back side and at least 1 inch down before going to a soft grey stripe. This is very helpful when you have your cell phone or the like in your pocket. This pair also has double belt loops in the back to help keep your belt in place throughout the day as you work! I washed them before the 1st wear and allowed them to air dry (have had shrinkage problems with ones purchased from other vendors); however, I have since washed them several times with a normal dryer setting and have no shrinkage issues. For fit, I am curvy in the hip and but area with a narrower waist. I am not able to find a good size that fits me in the Dickies traditional cuts (either too tight in the thigh or too baggy in the waist between sizes) – this style fits great. D. Greaves 4.0 out of 5 stars Increase size according to your body shape. First time purchaser. After reading the reviews I definitely thought this purchase was a risky venture. So many mixed experiences but realistically everyone is shaped differently so it fits everyone differently and there is not much stretch. I am 5’7”,a muscular 170, long torso, pear shaped big butt, smallish stomach.I knew the issue would be my butt/hips so I ordered I size up. Normal size is 8/10. I got a 12. Shockingly I got it right so that it’s not too tight but the waist still has a small gap. The gap isn’t so big that I have to wear a belt though. If you carry weight in your stomach and butt I would go at least two sizes up. Solid work attire for me in construction where jeans are frowned upon for senior positions. Would definitely buy again. Took off one star for sizing headache. Reviewed in the United States on July 6, 2019 |
catkids 2.0 out of 5 stars Happy but not completely I like these very comfortable, and very dressy when I tried them on when I Received it, very comfortable, and dressy I had ordered black, and appeared black, I didn't wash them before wearing them the next day to work, (I purchased these for work, and needed black pants) but unfortunately when I got to work, under their lighting, are navy blue and when standing, next to other coworkers with their black pants these really stand out as navy blue . :-( there is no longer a contact seller button to address my concerns, I understand I wore them, but would of like to have discussed this with the seller, Other than that they are nice even though I wanted to talk to seller I would have kept these pants but I wanted to discuss this that I ordered black not navy blue I would've gave five stars if they were black as ordered Reviewed in the United States on March 21, 2019 |
Angela M. 5.0 out of 5 stars Great but Small I bought these and read the reviews. I decided to give them a try despite the fact that there were mixed reviews. I'm a claims adjuster and am out in the field. I needed something somewhat business casual but yet professional looking. I found them in these pants. I bought the 14 based on the reviews and am glad I did. (I normally wear a 10 in curvy pants.) Straight out of the wrapper they were very loose. I had ordered several pair so I decided to wash one and see what happened. I'm glad I kept them. They shrank 1.5 sizes. They are still a little big but I didn't want them too tight on my butt anyway. Also, they don't gap in the back like some pants do. On a side note, I bought the black and khaki and the black faded when washed. They are still wearable but I can tell they've going to fade to the point of not being able to wear them. I would stick with the khaki if fading is an issue. Court 3.0 out of 5 stars Runs extremely small. Go up 2-3 sizes if you have thick/muscular thighs. As another reviewer mentioned, these run EXTREMELY small for those with curvy or muscular thighs. I usually wear about a women's 12 in curvy fit jeans (Levi's, Lucky, Maurices, etc), I'm 5'7 with a 32 waist and 46 hip with very muscular legs. I sized up to a 14, knowing that Dickies have no stretch in the waistband to get them over my hips. I could barely get these past my thighs. I don't think a 16 would have even fit. On the positive side, I think the cut of the legs is very flattering, compared to most work pants I've tried on (IMO, they're more of a boot cut than a straight leg). I might swallow my pride and try returning these for an 18 to see if they fit, because I think they would be good for my security job. Reviewed in the United States on October 5, 2019 |
Theresa 2.0 out of 5 stars Poorly made; Not worth it I bought these pants twice and have regretted each purchase. The first size I bought was size 4 slim fit and the second size I bought was a size 6 curvy fit. I bought the size 6 curvy fit because I am petite and curvy and the size 4 fit more like a 2. Both sizes are tight and the 6 has shown early signs of the seam splitting, which is disappointing given that I thought Dickies were built to last. I am not a heavy person - I stand 5'4 and weigh about 130lbs but do have a little bit of hips to me. The fabric is also very stiff despite a few wash cycles and the pant leg rises above the ankles when you sit down (becoming high waters). Wish I could get my money back for these terrible pants. The waist is also very tight and feels quite uncomfortable. I actually wore an adjustable seat belt belt and unhooked the pants because of how tight the waistband is.
