Hello Everone!!! On November 11, last Thursday, we starded new season of Coffee Hour for the Enlish language intermediate level class.
14 people came to practice their English and make new friends. After a brief introduction we decided to play a game that would help us to learn more about each other. Here are the rules of the game in case you want to play it with friends again:
- Each of the coffee hour friends write on 4 pieces of papers 4 interesting things about themselves (for example "I have 2 sisters and 2 brothers", or "I hate rain", or even "I need a toothbrush" ) and put it into the mixing bag.
- After that, the papers are mixed and each of the members should draw 4 papers again. They will get 4 different people’s information.
- Then they mingle around the room, talking to each other and trying to find the person who wrote it. However, they should not ask “Hey, is this your handwriting”, or “who has 2 sisters and 2 brothers”. Instead they should try to make a conversation with each of the participants, practicing therefore their English.
- At the end, the best part! We make introduction once again.
Instructor says: Who can tell us about student A, and 4 people who got information about him/her will introduce this student once again.
