今年も護摩焚きに行ってきました。
ホラ貝の音色が耳に入りと、
その音は身体を波打って頭頂から足裏に抜けていく感覚がする。
そうやって初めに不要なエネルギーを浄化するのだと思う。
昔の人はエネルギーを感じることが出来たので
当たり前にやっていたのだろう。
護摩木が燃え上がる炎を見ることにより、
更にトランス状態に入り込むのだろう。
どこの国にも宗教が違っても、
宇宙エネルギーと繋がる儀式には
音や炎や言霊が使用されていたのだろう。
そうして宇宙エネルギーと繋がると
内なる声がヒントをくれたり、
映像を視せてくれたりするのだ。
自分の外ではなく
内側に自分の宇宙があると
再確認した護摩焚きだった。
今年も感謝しながら
人間活動をやっていきたい。
【Goma Fire Ritual】
I went to the goma fire ritual again this year.
I feel like I had many of my worldly desires burned away and purified.
The sound of the conch shell enters my ears,
and I feel that sound pulsing through my body,
passing from the top of my head to the soles of my feet.
I think that's how they purify unnecessary energy at the beginning.
People in the old days could feel energy, so they probably did this as a matter of course.
Watching the flames leap from the burning goma sticks likely draws one deeper into a trance-like state.
Across all countries and religions, rituals connecting with cosmic energy have likely used sound, fire, and the power of words.
Connecting with this cosmic energy allows an inner voice to offer hints or show visions.
This goma ceremony reaffirmed that my own universe lies not outside, but within.
This year too, I wish to engage in human activities with gratitude.
