Refuge crisis a price paid for diplomatic failures in Mideast - Global Times

in fine fettle > Michiko
There is nothing unique about me.

The fact is that the people of my country have come out in their millions in opposition to and struggle against every single aggressive war of "our own" government.

From such renowned democrats as Walt Whitman and Mark Twain coming out against the Spanish-American war, to Eugene Debs winning over a million votes while running for office on an anti-war ticket from jail at the time of WWI, to the mass movement for nuclear disarmament and peace after WWII, to the struggle of millions against the war in Korea and then in Vietnam, to the solidarity movement with the peoples of Cuba and Latin America, to the struggle against the wars in Iraq and Yugoslavia, to the struggle against the invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan and the entire so-called "war on terrorism."

The American people have also created a broad anti-militarist movement which has waged fights against such things as the military draft and the parasitic military budgets.

Agree or disagree with the aims of any of these movements as you will, but only the insane would try to deny that these movements have existed and are a part of the history of the international movement for peace.

Problem I see is,

①Americans are too apathetic and ignorant to anything happening outside of their blue soil, while it is a very affair that they are causing.
They are just not interested in an event on abroad, even when it is really crucial, when it is what they caused, like this time event in Japan.

②According to ①, Americans easily happen to have an idea like "It's okay" when they alone are fine.
I was stunned when some American man told me that "believe me, my country is really blessed in not fighting a war with each other on our blue soil for 150 years".
Number of the wars and the foreign dead are never counted in his memory.
Incredible.

③America is not a place actually diversified.
America is basically a state that white Christian are at, are owning, in her populace, in her authority too.
The people those still making decision are white Christians.
NY or California is not essentially America, but just an exceptional unique area.

④Regarding her harsh(or unnatural) founding history, American whites have got sick, but they don't know they are sick.
Paranoia, for getting attacked, seeking "might" too much.
That is why they still can't leave a gun even in person.
Arming right is not actually something civilized, but barbaric, but they don't know it is seen barbaric from outside America.

⑤According to ④, only rule they really interpret is "might is right", and it is not actually "common" in the world, but they don't know it is not always "common".
So they pushed their agenda-might is right, so you must do what I tell- to outside without a doubt in thinking "everyone interprets this rule because it is common" no, it's not always common.

This is how or why America has become a cancer of the world, persona non grata. Sure your country always have certain people those against it, but I see it too few when compare with actual influence that she has been giving to outside people.
While you Americans grab an authority to decide life and death of outside people, those powerless people, like us, or like civilians in Syria or Iraq those collaterally killed by US air raid, they actually die for it, why?
Why they need to die?
I don't know.
But Americans are too ignorant and irrelevant to the innocent deads on abroad. This is really sick, insane.
