What popped out of Abe and his henchmen are all about Netouyo jargons, 反日 or 日教組 or 左翼 or else.
They are nothing different from ordinary Netouyo.
Abe recently heckled a woman lawmaker 蓮舫(DPJ)again, after he was criticized for heckling 辻元, pointed out he's just a typical male chauvinist, woman hater.
He doesn't like a woman working, as a woman he deems of should stay at home. Yes E mperor to attend at the ceremony would be fine, that is good.

They are bunch of lackeys of USA, prioritizing the interest of other state=USA, that is not nationalistic in the first place.
Also not conservative as what they believe is not Japanese tradition, but what Meiji Government cursorily created.
日の丸 and 君が代 and 靖国 are all not the features out of Japanese tradition, but something having only 140 some years history.
That is far from enough to say traditional.

Yes that is their kind of 事大主義, and I am not someone who's necessarily against 事大主義 when it is with some state that is for 少貢大賜, because Asian tributary system has to be so.
But USA is definitely a state for 大貢少賜, so we should not keep paying tribute to her.

You are right, they have culture that prompting people to spend money, spending more money is a feature considered to be good, but it is totally different than what we have.
They get bankruptcy really soon since saving money is the last thing to be recommended.
That is fine as it is cultural difference, but they should not make their money squandering life on an expense of foreign people like us.
There's no return for tribute to USA, none.
They have no such culture in giving back something, by getting tribute.
But this is not acceptable.
As long as heigher person or substance is supposed to give back MORE than what he/she has got, ALWAYS.
This is a golden rule in Japan, and I guess it is the same in every place in east Asia.

For instance, I didn't like Koizumi when he ran the country.
I didn't like him, didn't vote to LDP, but I didn't do further to say No to Koizumi.
My dead father used to hate him either, but like me, not doing something to make a noise, as we thought there was no viable means to do so in those days.
I might have said something negative if only someone asked me how do you feel, but just no one did.
Right question is needed, poll should just ask everyone like "Do you want a good relationship with neighboring countries?" then everyone says Yes.
"Do you want to have a war against neighboring countries?" everyone says No.
"Do you need your government to take a tangible measure to let you get along with neighboring people?" everyone says Yes.
"Do you hate neighboring people because of the countries they belong to?" no one says Yes.
Abe is definitely worse than Koizumi, so much so that makes people feel more annoying, so more people started saying an absolute No.
We should have said No to Koizumi more clearly back then, and we failed to do so.
And then Abe is able to dominate the country as now, as things are the features always continuing, and we have to pay much for the result of what we "didn't" do.
