It's kind of mystery

I heard something extremely impressive phrase when I was watching a drama “Ghost” yesterday.
It was like that,
“Nothing is what it seems”.
This would be a kind of expression that it might be too difficult to replace it in Japanese.
Maybe, it would be translated like this as best as I can,
「Mitamamawoshinjiruna」
But, I think it's not able to understand correctly about this phrase in Japanese.
Language, it's kind of mystery.
We might be noticed of how not countable the translation work would be, as knowing such a magical phrase.
