The defining moment in American politics

Govenor Spitzer of New York has resigned.
So ended a dayslong political drama on Wednesday.
Still to come are decisions on whether the stunning indiscretions by the hard-charging, crusading ex-prosecutor will lead to criminal charges or disbarment.
...so you think.

Yet Spitzer still remains to be the
HOT topic at EVERY table.
Lunch table, library group study table, PIG group table...etc

There are two groups.
One that condemns Spitzer for his action
and the one that defends him.
Although the defense team seems to have...no case to defend.
Their argument is that Spitzer DID NOT HAVE to resign from office.
What's the big deal, right?

This stuff happens in American politics all the time.
Kennedy, Watergate, Clinton - Lewinsky scandal...

If Spitzer had simply cheated on his wife...
then no,
he didn't have to step down.
However,
we are dealing with prostitution here << ILLEGAL

As a governor of New York State, and also the former attorney general, who prosecuted big corporations engaged in "shady" acts...
Was he in his RIGHT mind to do the very thing thats hes been stumping on?
This guy had built his entire political career by burying such issue to the Earth's core.
The public had expected him to run for the president of USA next.
However...

For a pimp,
Spitzer is a wuss.
In his resignation speech to the public on Wed,
he confessed that
resignation seemed to be a good idea according to the advice of his "wise" colleagues.
On top of that,
he had to wait until Wed to step down.
I guess there were some paper works he had to fill out
...at least according to Ciara's dad, who is the deputy of NDC
<< plea bargain most likely so that he won't be prosecuted.
He HAD to resign in order to legally save his lame ass.

Oh, and let's not forget the shame he has brought to New Yorkers...
& his family.
