I say gold

Walking through the streets
Sometime there's a stranger in my town
Wait 'til April and I meet
Wear my silken shirts and gowns
Karaoke I sing
Balance my yang with my yin
When I say I love to follow eastern winds
You think yellow I say gold
It's the color of my real skin
I am young but I am told
That my history flows within
You think yellow I say gold
Feel the current of Red River
Through my soul
You think yellow, I say gold
Draw my thoughts in China ink
On my paper made of rice
I am shy in the begin
When a boy gives me the eye
Karaoke I sing
Balance my yang with my yin
When I say I love to follow eastern winds
You think yellow I say gold
It's the color of my real skin
I am young but I am told
That my history flows within
You think yellow I say gold
Feel the current of Red River
Through my soul
You think yellow, I say gold
Oh Red river, take me home
Feel the current through my soul
=============================
Red river is the name of a river in my country, more exactly, it's in my city - Hanoi
I love this song and love the singer too. She is a Vietnamese, but was born and grown up in Belgium. Maybe, that's why her songs have such special feeling, I feel like she always wants to know more about her roots, about the country where her parents were born. And she really has a love to Vietnam, that makes her song so touching, (^-^ !) Maybe, it's just my thoughts. But, I think "I say gold" is worth listening to, even when you're not Vietnamese.
