Lingerie is basically clothing that is worn to seduce. Most lingerie show off a lot of skin and some are even transparent. They could be in form of costumes such as the sexy nurse outfit or just simple revealing lingerie. They are usually accompanied with thongs or g-strings as underwear is not very important in times of intimacy.
Corsets and bustiers are apparel mainly worn by women to shape their figures and accentuate their curves. Corsets give the illusion of a slimmer waist and so they are tight around the waist. The corset can extend from the bust to the hips or it can be shorter. A bustier is a very close fitting piece of apparel that is normally strapless. It used to be worn only as lingerie but nowadays it can be worn as an upper body garment; like a blouse.
