I add the information to my previous mail. If you want to calculate
CAPM correctly, you had better use the historical beta.
I am not sure that the company beta from Yahoo is the figure at the
end of current term end. (this may be current beta)
However, if you use "Bloomberg" (this is not free), you can get the
historical beta. Regarding how to use the Bloomberg, please refer to
the following link.
http://www.lib.washington.edu/business/guides/beta.html
In addition, according to case homepage, we can use "Bloomberg" at PBL
251. If you want to use the historical beta, go there to find it.

This is just information again.
When you need the company beta, the easiest way is to go to Yahoo Finance.
For example, you want to get beta of starbucks corp.
1. http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=SBUX
2. more on SVUX> Key Statistics
3. You can find the beta in "Stock Price History" on the right side
of the middle of page. (0.8)
Also, the following link is very useful. If you need, please refer to it.

*How to look for the company's financial statement
We have several methods to look for the company's financial statements
(1) From company's website
Go to the company's website and find the official annual reports
Look for About "Our Company" or "Investor Relations".
.
(2) From EDGER (SEC home page)
Go to the SEC site (http://www.sec.gov/edgar.shtml
,)
Go to "Search for Company Filings" >>Companies & Other Filers >>and
then enter the company name>>"Find companies".
Once you bring up the company record, Click on "CIK" to view company filings.
Use the dialog box in the upper right hand corner to limit your
results by typing in Form Type (10-K).
Click "Retrieve Selected Filings." and then you can find the 10-k 2008
and it includes Financial Statements.
