The stars of Mad Men could have done
well to discuss their outfit choices before attending a presentation for
their new season on Thursday.
January Jones was left looking underdressed next to her dolled up co-stars when she chose a too-casual outfit.
The
actress wore a denim jacket over a floaty white blouse top, along with
black leather trousers and matching peep toe ankle boots.
You should have called first: January Jones (L) was left looking underdressed compared to Jessica Pare at a presentation of Mad Men season six in New York on Tuesday
With her blonde tresses tied in a
simple top knot and minimal make-up aside from a slick of dark pink
lipstick, it didn’t look like the 35-year-old had spent much time
getting ready.
It was a different story when Jessica Paré arrived on the red carpet at the bash, held at The Paley Center in New York.
The
30-year-old appeared to be sticking to the theme of the evening as the
cast drummed up even more excitement about season six of their show,
which kicked off airing earlier this month.
Keeping things casual: January wore a denim jacket over a white blouse, along with leather trousers and matching peep toe ankle boots
That's a bit better: January whipped off her jacket before she and Jessica posed with co-stars (L-R) Jon Hamm, Kiernan Shipka, John Slattery and Vincent Kartheiser
Which meant that Jessica chose a
Sixties inspired ensemble in the form of a white shift dress with
colourful pink and orange panels.
The
rising star teamed her statement dress with a pair of white pumps that
boasted a metallic gold platform, bringing the outfit back to the
present day.
Kiernan
Shipka, 13, appeared to be of Jessica’s school of thought in a black
dress printed with red flowers which she paired with black court shoes.
Stealing from her playbook: Kiernan appeared to be of Jessica's school of thought as she also chose a printed dress
Back to the future: Jessica modernised her distinctly Sixties shift dress with white pumps that had gold platforms
January may have been a little
embarrassed at being underdressed and quickly whipped off her casual
jacket before posing for a group shot.
The
three gorgeous ladies posed with the likes of Jon Hamm, John Slattery
and Vincent Kartheiser, who all star with them on the hit show and
dressed up in smart suits.
Not seen was Christina Hendricks, who joined her five aforementioned cast mates at BAFTA a celebration of Mad Men the previous evening.
The next episode of Mad Men is set to air April 28 on AMC.
Teamwork: The gang attended a BAFTA celebration of Mad Men the previous evening with Christina Hendricks and the show's creator Matthew Weiner also present
