65.2.過去形と過去完了形（補足）
前回の文例で、「駅に着いたら列車が出発していた」と言いたい時、
（１）When I arrived the station, the train had already left.
のようにすると述べました。もしこれをafterで書き換える場合でも、
（２）I arrived the station after the train had (already) left.
とhadが必要になります。
（３）I arrived the station after the train left.
とすると、やはり「駅に着いた」時と「列車が出発した」時との時間差が無く、ほぼ同時の出来事と解釈されます。
