Hello!

maybe somebodies are asking "why happy sep. 15?"

well, today is september 15th here and...

is Independence Day (really is on sep. 16th but begin today).

why today is a "special day"?

´cause is a important day .

every year in this day, we begin to celebrate with many

things.

it´s  a loooong topic,so i try to be brief.

historically, in the midnight on september 15,

Mexico's independence began ringing of bells

in a church by Miguel Hidalgo

to abolish slavery by
spanish conquers (1810-1821)

For that reason, every year, the President

have to ring the bells in Mayor house

and give a speech praising the nation.

In some places, the people go to the
main square to celebreat with music, fireworks...

anothers, in their home, see the speeach for tv

and have a party with family and friends, and have

a lot typical food and drinks.

Some restaurants, in the night, have some similar parties.

In the schools, depending on the grade, have a "mini party".

And all are decorated with ornaments with "patriotic colors"

(red, white and green), this ornaments can be paper bells, paper chains,

paper flags....too have a mural newspaper about the history around this day

and some schools have  festivals talking about this day,

and theachers and students dressed with similar clothes to that time.

*i try to post photos later, be patient pleaseてへぺろ *

And tomorrow (16th) is free day by law.

I hope like this post and..

see you later~
