It has been a very long time...(sorry, i have a lot things to do)![]()
Has anyone seen the movie "Remember me"?
I hope liked it (but, sincerely, i have a shock with the soundtrack in
japanese version...it`s totally different!!!).![]()
Well, here ending the FICG (Festival de Cine de Guadalajara = Guadalajara Film Festival)
and yes, was the director Guillermo del Toro for the master class![]()
(was 3 days; there was a lot of demand and every event was on TV on live.
The tickets were free (very hard to get) and was super cool)![]()
Fortunately, the television station (Canal 44) put the videos on youtube officially
I`ll leave the links but they are 100% in Spanish.
I`ll try to translate some of the most important questions,
(wait patiently please).
And an exhibition was also announced by Guillermo del Toro for March 2019

Hello everybody!
You are welcome.
In this post writte about the movie "Remember me" by Pixar
If you like (or love) the mexican tradition "the day of the Death"
this movie is for you.
As mexican, i talk more...how can i say? familiar mode about this movie.
First: the movie have a lot of aspect of which I´ll describe separately and one by one
in another post.
Second: the movie premier in the world is November 27 (i guess, i don´t remember exactly the day)
but in Mexico the premier was (officially) on Octuber 24 (one month before, more less) and still
project before in FESTIVAL INTERNACIONAL DE CINE DE MORELIA (On october 20)
and all this week, every cinema function in every cinema around the city...is a mess;
is a boom!!! all the people want to see them.
Third: The cast and production was strictly and detailed (Pixar take their time...and the result was amazing) the soundrack and spanish version was made for an icredible cast as Gael Garcia and Carlos Rivera
**If you wanna listen some songs in the soundrack (IN SPANISH VER), pixar left some them in their official youtube channel DisnyeMusicLAVEVO**
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4xvmRCvCnq4
Fourth: The title in Mexico and the world are differents.
In the world, the movie title as "Remember me" but in Mexico is "Coco" ( and this is a nickname and reference to the dead. And is like a familiar and lovely form to named some grandmothers/ grandfathers). For this reason, the poster in Mexico are differents and so many.
Fifth: A popular brand of clothes (named ¡ay Güey! ) have a line inspired by the movie.
I hope enjoy this post...(and later, this movie)
Take care!
see ya~
