I went to lunch with a good friend today. She's like a mom to me and I appreciate her so much. I had a lot of pork belly (which is my favorite) and a really good vietnamese iced coffee. There were also really cute salt and pepper shakers at the restaurant!
I find it funny that I've been to this restaurant a few times and every time I've been sat at the same table and ordered the same meal. I guess it must be a bit of coincidence combined with being a creature of habit!
We also ran into a mutual friend as well. I saw her from the restaurant window and we both ran out to hug her and say hi. She's such a sweet girl and she told us about how her college classes were going. She used to be my coworker but she left to focus on school. I'm so happy things are going so well for her. She works so hard and I'm glad she's made such good progress with her life.
Ending my lunch for now with some taro boba! I'm gonna head home now before I go out for pizza later with friends. One of them just had top surgery so I'm going to get us pizza so we can hang out at his house and play video games together while he recovers.
For now, this is my send off! My little car buddy, Melvin, says goodbye! 👋
