So it's not goodbye, but rather farewell
Good morning Sister Jane, Mrs. Lo, Sisters,
Teachers, parents and friends.
I am here to deliver my last speech as a farewell to
I am here to deliver my last speech as a farewell to
the school we all respect and love on behalf of all
the graduates of the year 2010.

My three years of pink blouse and gray skirt was full
with tons of precious memories. When I first entered
this school, I never thought time would fly this fast.
However, now I know that time never waits for
anyone and there is always the time when we all
need to walk in separate ways. Senior year in high
school makes me realize that it is the time for a big
change. We all need to take a step that will lead us
into a new and wider world. But before we take this
big step upward and outward, let us look back for a
few minutes to see what we are leaving behind and
what we are taking with us.
We are leaving behind some of the childish games
We are leaving behind some of the childish games
and jokes we once enjoyed. We are leaving simple
subjects for harder ones. We are leaving this school,
these classmates, and these teachers who have
become so closely connected not only with our
educational life, but also deeply connected
to our heart.
Even though it might sound like we are leaving many
Even though it might sound like we are leaving many
things behind, but we are taking many things with us,
too. Three years of great knowledge and memories
are packed fully in our bags and ready for us to
carry away before we part. Just the thinking of it
gives me warmth and a smile at the corner of my
mouth. I know that I will always have everyone with
me no matter where I go.
With this, I would like to thank you all the sisters
With this, I would like to thank you all the sisters
and teachers who act as our brightest star. Their
kindness to us, their patience with us, and their
unselfish readiness to help whenever we needed
them are the best features ever existed in every
CIJ teachers. You guide and push us up to where
we are today, giving us the opportunity to make
our parents proud seeing us in this gown.
Thank you to our dear parents, without you and
your constant support and encouragement,
we will never make it.
Most importantly, thank you to all my super cool
Most importantly, thank you to all my super cool
third year ‘best friends’. I never had this much
best friends before in my entire life! Thank you
the 87 of you for not leaving one another, for
being here today in the same gown and celebrating
our success together hand in hand. Everyone
deserves it! No matter where you go or how far
we might be apart, keep in mind that we are once
here together, smiling and laughing with a jolly
heart. Whenever you are down, look into the bag
of memories you carried and you will see 87 people s
miling back at you. So don’t lose hope or let go of
your faith because we will always have each other.
It’s weird how time passes by so fast.
All of a sudden the present becomes the past.
We have waited for this day for years.
Although we hadn't prepared for so many tears.
Coming to school before seven forty-five
is harder than getting honey from a beehive.
We all line up for assembly,
singing our national anthem so nicely.
Room twelve walks up to their class,
followed by Room fourteen and Room fifteen last.
Looking back at the retreat and also that prom

Looking back at the retreat and also that prom
dance, suddenly we wish we had just one more
chance. All we have got left are memories of the
good times. It is time to hear the bells last chime.
It’s just too sad to say goodbye.
Let’s call it farewell so we won’t cry.
So it’s not "goodbye," but rather "farewell;"
I’ll see you again, my friends.
Your friendship means a lot to me,
And it will never end.
