先週末に、この秋に癌で亡くなられた小学校の恩師のご自宅にご焼香に行ってきました。
幼馴染のカナちゃんと二人でお邪魔して、奥様と一緒に昔話に花が咲きました。
奥様はご主人（恩師）のことが、大好きだったということがわかって、
何か喪失感より、温かい気持ちになれましたね。
幼馴染のカナちゃんと遊んだのは、麦畑ではなく田圃でしたが、Stingのこの曲を思い出しました。
