2021年5月 ユニオンちよだの支部である「サイネオス・ヘルス社」サイネオス支部（労働組合） が結成されました。
（結成までの経緯）
2018年7月1日、CROであるインヴェンティヴ・ヘルス・ジャパン合同会社（日本橋本社）は、INC Research Japan株式会社（品川本社）と合併し、サイネオス・ヘルス社に名称変更しました。
2019年2月～3月、10名以上の社員 - インヴェンティヴ・ヘルス・ジャパン時代にクリニカル・トライアル・アシスタント(CTA)として採用/雇用されていた社員 - が、一斉に退職勧奨を受けました。
2019年2月、そのうち１名がユニオンちよだに加入し、2019年3月に団体交渉を行いました。
その後、CTA以外の他のサイネオス社員からも、ユニオンちよだに 退職勧奨・ロックアウト・PIP（業績改善プログラム)・パワーハラスメント・降格処分による相談／加入が続きました。

このような事態に鑑みて、2021年5月、ユニオンちよだ サイネオス支部が発足しました。
ユニオンちよだ サイネオス支部の顧問弁護士には、東京法律事務所 長谷川弁護士が就任されました。
今後、社内の職場環境の改善および働きやすさの向上に努めていきます。

In May 2021, Union Chiyoda formed the branch of Union Chiyoda, Syneos Branch (labor union).
(Background)
On July 1, 2018, inVentiv Health Japan (Head office: Nihonbashi) - Contract Research Organization(CRO)- merged with INC Research Japan (Head office: Shinagawa), and changed its name to Syneos Health.
Between February and March 2019, more than 10 Syneos health employees - who had been hired as CTA (Clinical Trial Assistant) by InVentiv Health Japan GK before the merger - were encouraged to leave Syneos Health.
In March 2019, one of them joined Union Chiyoda and Union Chiyoda had collective bargaining with Syneos health.
After this, other Syneos health employees than the CTAs consulted / joined Union Chiyoda one after another due to encouragement to retire, lockout, PIP（Performance Improvement Program）, workplace harassment and demotion.
* The job title of CTA was renamed to Clinical Operations Specialist(COS) after the merger.
Considering the circumstances, Syneos branch, the branch of Union Chiyoda, was established in May 2021.
The legal counsel for the Union Chiyoda Syneos branch is Ms. Hasegawa, a lawyer at Tokyo Law Office.
We will strive to improve the working environment within the company.
