The product of today's review is called ZetaClear and it's actually aimed at those that have problems with fungi, more specifically toenail fungal infections. If you've never had a fungal toenail infection before, you may still know what it is or may have seen it before in other people or in pictures.
Usually, it occurs in the toenail but it is not uncommon to appear in fingernails. It happens when fungi overpopulate and grow, causing an infection in the toenail, causing the toenail to become distorted, to change its color and appear as though it is decaying, also making it thicker which may cause pain and it may cause the toenail to become separated from the skin which can feel quite painful and uncomfortable, especially when wearing shoes while walking or running.
It doesn't always cause pain and discomfort, it depends on how advanced the infection is or how bad it looks. Your chances of getting this infection increase if you spend much time in places where fungi grow, such as moist, warm places with high humidity and not the best hygiene.
The reason for why this infection occurs more often in toenails is because that is the perfect place for fungi to reproduce and develop due to the feet often being in shoes, where it is warm and sometimes moist, creating the perfect environment for these microorganisms.
This problem does not affect someone's health and is not life-threatening, however it can look terrible and it can, as I've already mentioned, cause pain and discomfort.
ZetaClear is one of many treatments, but one that does not have clinical evidence for its claims of helping with this problem, or clinical evidence of being safe. The price of this product, of one container, is 46.36 euros for a total of 52.81 euros if the price of shipping and handling is included.
Although the ingredients could help with inhibiting fungi in the body, there is no proof for the formula and it is composed of homeopathic treatments.
With homeopathy being so controversial and lacking the support of science, the product doesn't have the best reputation. Adding to that is the feedback which has quite a lot of complaints. It has not worked for a number of people that have used it, however, it has also not caused side-effects.
It may work, but it lacks the proof and doesn't have a good reputation as it stands. I would recommend consulting a doctor before using Zetaclear.
