Hello everybody!
Now I'd like to write about my three dearest friends I met when I was studying in the U.S.![]()
The first friend I'm going to introduce is.....
Charissa from Florida![]()
Actually, I met her in Japan before I went to the U.S.
She came to my university having heart that she wanted to tell students in Japan about Christianity.
I got to like her kind and pure personality as soon as I met her.
We were often chatting and talking on skype while I was studying in California.
I'm going to share 'a memorable episode with Charissa'.
When I couldn't improve my English as I wished, I was overwhelmed by negative thinking like 'I wish I had been born in the U.S.' or 'I don't want to make a speech in front of native speakers'.
And Charissa told me that;
'There is a meaning that you were born in Japan. If you were born in America, you wouldn't have met your family and friends who have made what you are today.
And I am very impressed when I hear international students making a speech in English, which is not their mother language.'
These words encouraged me so much that I started to work hard again.

She is studying Japanese very hard and she always supports me with wonderful words. She does have a kind heart.
