今回で最後となります、
私の大切な友達紹介パート３です
This is going to be the final friend I introduce.
第三回目の友達は・・・・・
The third friend I'm going to introduce is.....
David from San Francisco
彼は、一番歳の離れた友人かもしれません。
I think he is my eldest friend.
しかし、驚くほど話しやすく、何でも言えてしまうのでそういった意味では全く歳の差を感じません
However, I don't feel the difference in our ages at all because he is so easy to speak to that I can tell him anything.
とはいえ、私がピンチの時にはその知識の豊富さで役立つアドバイスをくれます
And yet, he has a lot of knowledge and always gives me useful advice whenever I'm in trouble.
留学中どれほど彼にお世話になったかは・・・本当に計り知れません。
I cannot say how much I was saved by him while I was in the U.S.
そんなクリスチャンの彼は、「あなたの隣人をあなた自身のように愛しなさい」という聖書の言葉を身をもって教えてくれました。
David is a Christian and he has proved the meaning of 'Love your neighbor as yourself'.
なんと彼は、私が帰国した後日本人の奥さんと日本に移住してきたんですΣ(･ω･ﾉ)ﾉ！
Amazingly, he moved to Japan with his Japanese wife after I left California.
もし彼が移住した後に私が留学していたら、彼とアメリカで出会うこともなかったのだな・・・と思うと、人との出会いには何か不思議な縁があるのかと感じずにはいられません。
I hadn't met him in the U.S. if I went to America after his moving to Japan. I cannot help feeling that there must be curious coincidence in

今回紹介した３人に通じているのは、彼らはこれからずっと仲良くしていきたいと思える友人だということです(^-^)
The common thing about these three friends is that I want our friendships to last forever.
