種まきをした4月10日から10日ほど経ちました。
初旬はお天気の日が続き、一足先に南国気分になっていたが。。。

It's been around 10 days since I planted seeds on April 10.
The month started off with great weather and I was getting into my island resort groove....

最近逆に蒔いた種が心配になるほど雨風が強い。
ガーデンをビニールでカバーするか悩んでいるうちに、
いくつかの新芽たちが先にポツンと挨拶に現れてくれたので、シェアします。
However, it's been mostly rain and cold these last few days.
Just as I was wondering whether or not to cover up the raised bed garden,
I noticed new sprouts popping out to greet me.

でも、主役はやっぱりケール連合軍！！
However, never to be outdone is the Federation of Kale!!
やっぱり相性がいい。
We get along well.
気温と雨量を気にかけつつ、とりあえずもう少しこのまま出してやろうと思います。
ただ、野良猫に踏まれたりされるのも困るので、今年も自作ネットハウスで行きます。
早く必要な素材を買いに行かないと。。。
I will monitor the temperature and rainfall but will leave them uncovered for now.
However, as I don't want the sprouts trampled by stray cats, I will make a net house again this year.
I just need to go buy the supplies...
