The Chinese manufacturer Lenovo has unveiled two new Tablet PC. On the eight and ten-inch Lenovo Yoga tablets, the thickening on one long side is striking. It serves as a convenient handle and provides a base to set up. In the thickening, Lenovo has also housed a strong battery. So, remains the tablet itself pretty thin, but has an almost record-breaking battery life.
According to the manufacturer the models should come out up to 16 or 18 hours with no outlet. The new Apple iPad air creates only ten, a Samsung Galaxy tab 10 only nine hours on a battery charge, both are but technically better equipped. The Lenovo tablets belong to the middle class: the screen resolution of both models is 1280 × 800 pixels, which is significantly outbid by some top tablets.
The processor has four computing cores, each 1.2 gigahertz. Together with one gigabyte of memory, a built-in 16 GB large mass storage and the MicroSD slot for additional 64 GB prove to be the Yoga tablets as well suitable for everyday use.
