Wrapping up this week we talked a bit about farms, crows, corn, and scarecrows. We read the book "The Shy Scarecrow" and then did a craft - making a paper bag scarecrow. When making the paper bag scarecrow, we focused on the vocabulary for shapes, colors, and body parts (eyes, nose, mouth, and hair).

The students practiced their coloring, cutting, and pasting skills when making the paper bag scarecrow. That brings an end to our week talking about rice, grains, vegetables, and birds. There looks to be nice spring weather this weekend, so we hope everyone has a lovely weekend!
