This week in the ESL Pre-K Class we continued practicing writing the alphabet, this time focusing on G,g and H,h. And we also continued practicing phonics through beginning sounds for Z, A, and O.
The students also continued to practice their reading skills through Classroom English during Circle Time ("Today is sunny." etc.) and a reading activity worksheet involving colors. For speaking practice, the students talked about their favorite toys, in connection to the homework on items that you buy at a Pet Store vs. a Toy Store.
All of the children were excited and worked hard to share and describe their favorite toy to the class.
