Some developers want their Claude Code setup to live on a machine that never sleeps and is never shared. A dedicated rented Mac is one way to get that, and CCRent offers exactly this as a monthly service.

The hardware is a Mac mini M4 with 16 GB of memory and 256 GB of storage. It is hosted overseas on residential broadband with its own IP address, in North America, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia or Indonesia, whichever region is chosen at checkout.

When the machine is delivered it is already set up. Claude Desktop and Claude Code are installed, a Claude Max 5x or 20x plan subscribed through official channels is active, and Xcode, Homebrew and Git are preinstalled. To work on it you can open the full macOS desktop through UU Remote, ToDesk or RustDesk, or use Tailscale and SSH for a plain terminal session.

Since the Mac stays on around the clock, long jobs can keep running after you disconnect. Typical examples are overnight Claude Code refactors and test runs, scheduled tasks with launchd or cron, and iOS or macOS builds in Xcode.

Pricing is monthly, with no auto-renewal and no free trial. Max 5x costs 1,888 yuan a month and Max 20x costs 3,888 yuan a month, and multi-Mac or team setups are quoted individually. Delivery happens within a week of payment and the rental term starts on delivery day. If the account stops working under normal use, it is replaced and the lost days are added to the term. Support runs 24 hours a day.
