Lewis at Hero Interview

On sunday the Carp beat the Yomiuri Giants 5-4.
Starter Colby Lewis (3-2) pitched strong seven innings, and got his third win.
He allowed two runs and two hits, and struck out eight and walked one.
He was interviewed on a podium by a TV reporter after the game.

Ben Kozlowski came onto the mound in the eighth inning, and got two out.
Yomiuri Starter Koji Uehara(0-3) scattered seven hits in five innings, and allowed four runs.

vs. the Giants

The Carp host the Yomiuri Giants through this weekend at Hiroshima Municipal Stadium.

On Saturday, Starter Ken Takahashi (2-1) pitched a five-hit shut out as the Carp won, 1-0.
Scott Seabol homered in the fifth, and it was the only runs scored by the Carp.

On Friday, the Yomiuri Giants beat the Carp 5-1.
Ben Kozlowski pitched a scoreless eighth and struck out two batters.
