Mike Schultz felt a severe pain in his right shoulder Tuesday night,
and undertook a medical examination yesterday at a hospital in Okinawa City.
An assistant medical trainer for the Carp said,
"He will have a diagnosis a few days later.
Until then, he won't train."
And the trainer implied that Mike might undertake a medical examination again.
Mike said through a spokesman yesterday
that he was not sure about his condition,
though he hoped he could train as soon as possible.
He had undergone surgeries
in 2001 and 2002.
