In the Natural Park of #LaGeria, with an area of 5,225 hectares and close to the National Park #Timanfaya, we find a #spectacular #landscape covered black blanket of volcanic ash, where we can admire the #beauty of a barren landscape after the last volcanic eruption (#1730 - #1736) and adapted over time by the hand of #man, #following his instinct for survival and adaptation to the #environment around him. The #winery was built in the late nineteenth #century by the family Rijo. In #1993 it was acquired by its current owners, the family Melian, who have collated the most ancient #traditions of developing the most advanced #winemaking #technology. Currently, Bodega La Geria, is the most visited of #Spain, with an average of 300,000 visits per year.
