はじめまして
！これからちょこっとだけどカナダの文化、生活などを日本語、英語で紹介していきたいと思います。宜しかったらお付き合い下さい！
さて、カナダでは１０月に二つ大きなイベントがあります。一つはもうすぐ１０月の１２日に感謝祭（秋の実り、収穫に感謝をする日。）があり、その日はどこの家庭も親戚一同などが集まって盛大に食事をします。メインはやっぱり七面鳥
!私も作った事ありますが・・・・・・でかいです
！かなり大きいです！鶏の３階くらい大きな鳥です。そのほかにも、たくさんの野菜、フルーツを使って、サイドディッシュやデザートを作り、みんな食後には、必ず眠くなる
という得点つき! おなかいっぱいで眠くなるのではなく、どうやら七面鳥に眠くなる理由があるみたいです。詳しい事は分かりませんが、そのように聞いてます！
今年は私は作らず、旦那の実家にお邪魔しようと思ってます！
ちなみにアメリカとカナダでは感謝祭が違いアメリカは１１月の終わりにあります！！
そして、もう一つのイベントは子供達がクリスマス
、バースデー
の次くらいに楽しみにしてる『Ｔｒｉｃｋ ｏｒ Ｔｒｅａｔ！』でお馴染みのハロウィン
！！去年は、私のＫｉｄｓちゃん達は上の息子は忍者
、下の娘はプリンセス
に扮して大量にお菓子をもらってました！！！お家によってはかなりデコレーションに請っていて、ちょっとしたお化け屋敷化してるお家もありました！！大体ハロウィン１０月３１日の２週間前くらいからデコレーションをする家がチョコチョコ見えて、１週間前くらいには大きなカボチャを掘って中にキャンドルなんかを入れて外に飾ります。お家が飾られてたり、カボチャにキャンドルがともってるお家を目印に子供達はＴｒｉｃｋ ｏｒ Ｔｒｅａｔ！に行きます。
さて。。。。私は今年何になろうかな

Hi! Guys!!!! Nice to meet you all!!!! I've just started my blog! so I am not sure how often I can update, but I'll try my best!!!!!
In Octorber we have two big days to cerebrate and enjoy in here Canada!!!! One of them is Thanksgiving day! You might heard about it once in your life maybe??? but it is very huge thing in Canada and US. but what is the real mean behind Thanksgiving?? Kids are happy be away from school for the long weekend?? It is the start of Christmas holiday seasons??
The real mean is....... All of people, Mom, Dad, husband, wife Grandma, Grandpa, cousins, little ones, do gather at the house, cerebrate as a day of feasting and giving thanks for divine favors or goodness.
I am japanese and I grow up in there. so I was not sure first about it too. but now, I think it is very nice to have the day like that. Being thankful for what you have.
In Canada we have one in Second Monday of October, but in US sometimes in the end of November. so it is different day! we usually eat huge Turkey dinner and lots of veggies and fruits! sooo yummy!!! so usually after the huge meal, lots of people gets soo sleepy... Not because the huge dinner...... somebody said because of the Turkey.... I am not sure exactly why. but something to do with the food which turkey was fed..... I am not srue.. but it happened to me too! I mean all of my family!!!!!
and another big day in October is "Trick or Treat!!" Yes! Halloween!!!! All kids are waiting for the day!!!!
probably Christmas! Birthday! and Halloween have to be somewhereTop 3 of kids favorite days in a year!!!! It is actually fun for adults too!!! some houses are decorated about 2 weeks ahead from Halloween day (Oct 31) and usually people starts carving the pumpkins a week before Halloween day and put the candles inside!!!! it is kinda neat!!!! so kids will look for the sign is the houses are decrated or carved pumpkins are outside! and say loud! "Trick or Treat!!!" it is so fun to watch them!!!!! some houses are very well decorate!!! it is kind of amazing!!!
I am not sure what my kids wants to be this year! Last year.. my son was.... Ninja and My daughter was.. princess!!! maybe I should be something this year!!! that would be fun!!!!!!!!
