年末年始の風習の1つに、年越しそばがありますが、大晦日に食べるお蕎麦は、どこか神聖な気持ちになりますね。🥰

「 年越しそばと言います。💓
This is a traditional Japanese custom.
after the dinner on 31th.December( 大晦日 おおみそか) , around 23:00p.m, we eat it with a family.
This custome comes from 「そば餅」in a 鎌倉時代 Kamakura times (1185〜1133years)
A temple served 「そば餅(もち)」 made from soba for poor people on 31th December.
And then, they all became happy next year.
since then, a rumore of " you could be happy,if you eat 餅そば on 大晦日." spread wide.
年越しそば means
① hope to live thin and long as soba is thin and long.
② hope to cut your unhappy feelings this year and change your mind next year as soba is easy to cut.
③ hope to avoid your desease or suffering 「無病息災(むびょうそくさい)」next year.
Eating 年越しそば, we think about this year and think into next year. 😃 」
