スティービー・ワンダーのThe Secret Life Of Plants

先日部屋の掃除をしていたら、学生時代にラジオ英会話か何かで紹介されていた音楽を録音したもののリストが出てきました。あれから時間は経っていますが、今でも印象に残る曲があります。
今日紹介するスティービー・ワンダーのThe Secret Life Of Plantsを初めて聴いた時は、後頭部をバットで殴られたような気がしました。歌詞も深くて、植物のありがたみを更に考えるようになりました。

植物の秘められた命

こんなに小さな種からすべての生物の核が
始まるなんて想像もつかない
取るに足らないと思っているものが
人間が呼吸する最も済んだ空気を

目に見えない種類もあれば
