Somebody at the preschol gave Kai a cold, and he gave it to me,

and unfortunately I gave it to Rei. When you are already exhausted &

sleep-deprived, being sick with two sick kids is the last place you really want to be.

So my mum came to help out.

(To make it worse, Rei started this habit of not sleeping unless

you hold him and walk all over the place - my mum in this photo made a fatal

mistake of sitting down after he passed out.)

Rei looks quite happy, but he is only seconds away from

waking up and screaming.

G has a brand new project: teaching Kai how to play some card games.

After breakfast, the boys started playing the game called "Snap."

"SNAP!"

I am not quite sure if Kai really understands the rules or concept,

but he likes to say "SNAP" and well, does it very well.

"I am beating Daddy."

But of course, his concentration doesn't last too long.

"It's time to attack Daddy now!"

After the morning shower - the boys are back in the old spot,

playing the supermarket game Nain and Taid have sent Kai for

his birthday.

I know I am repeating myself here, but let me tell you one more time

that Kai absolutely completely adores Rei.

-- which is nice, but he doesn't know when to stop.

"Oh no, don't squash my belly, big bro!"

Poor Rei cannot escape Kai's non-stop pestering.

"Finally, he is gone..."

"Haha, not that easy!"

As I was coming down with this nasty cold, my mother came to help out this morning.

It's quite scary how messy the house (and everything else)

can so quickly get when you have two kids and one sick mother.

So her help was greatly appreciated.

This one of course was oblivious to everything.

Last night, G came home with a bouquet

of roses.

Apparently, today was our anniversary - we had

our first official "date" today a several years ago.

Well, I didn't remember, so it was such a great surprise.

Good Job! (well, I should really say "Thank you" instead, shoudn't I?)

So, Kai's new job is to push Rei's buggy.

He wants to go REALLY fast.

I mean, REALLY REALLY fast.

"Mummy, I want to go faster."

We received yet another gifts for Kai and Rei - this time from Traci and Ron - thank you so very much, guys!

Kai wanted to try out the new painting book.

This kiddo is oddly obsessed by the black/brown pens.

"Thank you Traci!"

Kai is always eager to hold Rei on his lap.

"So cute!"

He has become a bit of a stalker, really.

If I leave the two of them alone even for a second, Kai would be fonud trying to hold Rei, or giving him kisses (followed by screams from Rei, of course).

"Rei licked my nose!"

Rei wasn't too unhappy today though.

Later in the morning (after a series of dramas), we ventured out to a park again,

where Kai was found swimming...

in the sand. SIGH.

There was sand everywhere, even in his underpants, when we got home.

But you cannot beat this smile, I guess.

After a busy day at the park,

two boys were found unconscious on the sofa

even before the dinner time (well, in Kai's case at least).

"Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz"

We seriously need a bigger sofa, needless to say a bigger bed...

This past Saturday, Yui's family came to visit us all the way from Ireland.

I was so happy to see them after more than a year - and it was quite amazing to see how big Colin has grown. He was a baby last time we saw him, and now, he was talking, running, and playing (or is it more accurate to say fighting?) with Kai and stuff. Kids grow up so fast, don't they?

Kids had lots of fun diving/jumping from a chair to G.

Even Rei was a bit amused.
