But first thing first, Kai has to play on the balcony after breakfast.
He gets ready with his winter hat and a sweater vest over his PJ. Nice look right there.
He has also developed this bad habit - associating reading with going toilet.
Here, Daddy is trying to tackle a dirty nappy while an avid reader examines various ways to make interesting toys. (excuse us for the mess in the house, as well as this picture.)
Reading continues with a fresh nappy.....He is concentrating - you can see it from his pouty lips.
Now, time to go. Kai loves to drive our car.
We went to Odaiba.
After a little shopping, while taking a walk, Kai finds a vending machine. Quickly, he adopts his ''cute'' face (EVIL), asking for a can of juice.
After his cute face fails to work on his parents, he decides to vandalize the vending machine.
On Thursdays, Kai goes to the pre-school for a couple of hours in the morning. He looks forward to it, saying "(I will say) good morning (to) Sensei (teachers)" and "(then I will) bye bye mummy.'' (Needless to say, he always cries when he gets there in reality.)
After the school, we went to a near-by park for yet another picnic. The picture above is Kai taking a nap after coming home from a rather exhaustive day.
Meanwhile, taking advantage of this time, I baked some Christmas cookies. Oh, do you notice some are already missing...?
And this is the cream bit. While I was cooking dinner, Kai was unusually quiet. I should have known. He was in the bathroom, playing with my handcream. Literally, he emptied it, smearing it everywhere.
Kai playing in a play area at our favourite shopping center (you know where). He was the only child there and had all those cars to himself, and consequently, refused to go home. We had a huge scene right after this happy picture...
However, he was quite happy when given a plate of pasta at home. This is Kai asking for more!
Finally our Christmas tree is out. A Santa's little helper came and helped us decorate the tree (and insisted on eating some of those christmas chocolates you set us for the tree, too).
Kai now recognizes ''Christmas'' stuff everywhere - and even though he doesn't understand what it means, the sites of santa clause or christmas trees really excite him.
Oh, by the way, when asked what he wants Santa to bring him this Christmas, he said "Bananas." Good boy!
