以前、学会にタダで行かせてもらったため、来週の学会のインターナショナルな会で、
討論会のリーダーに任命されました

Just wanted to confirm that I received your message. I would also like to know what kind of computer equipment will be available. I can bring my laptop if need be, or simply bring my powerpoint on a flash drive to be plugged into whatever computer/projector is available.
Also, if I bring my laptop, will it be plugged into a VGA port?

You don't need to bring your laptop.
You simply bring your powerpoint on USB flash memory, if you can.
Both windows and macintosh will be abailable.
If you're concerned about these problems, you can send me an E-mail attaching a powerpoint in advance.
