Princess and The Frog

Seeing the movie only further convices me that Disney should mostly stick to animated films.

It was like experincing my childhood all over again.

The colours, the acting, the scores, characters, and the feel of a Disney movie was all there. My mom even asked what I thought and I responded "buy the DVD when it comes out".

It's not I haven't liked any Disney x Pixar films -I do; Monster's Inc., Toy Story 1 & 2-; it's not the same. While everything has more dimension, the 2-D style somehow makes every detail and character and their emotions stand out more. I feel more compelled to smile, laugh, get angry, and cry when seeing a flat, hand-drawn character run across my eyesight than a more filled out, computer generated one.

Seriously take time to go see it. All the best Disney has to offer is there and much more.

Sunshine of my day

Yesterday was a freakishly good day. Wednesdays are supposed to be total crap. I mean, one day slammed in the middle of the week, it reminds you that while you made it through Monday and Tuesday, there's still Thursday and Friday to conquer.

What exactly made yesterday so great?

It was an easy school day, everybody seemed relaxed. Someone(s) is uploading HD TV releases of old H&MC lives, and AHS had interesting conversations going on. I also managed not to fall asleep half through Myth Busters (the hot water heater rocket is easily within the top 10 of my fave moments).

Was today equally as great?

No but it still was pretty good. Actually, I'm kinda worried. Usually two full days of goodness don't happen in a row.

Will Friday be able to carry on in the same way?

Maybe. There's this English test tomorrow that's a hefty 200 points and up. It's not part one that scares me, it's part two. Part two starts on Monday. On Monday, we have to write an essay within the period.

I'm horrible at writing. My mind goes into a billion different thoughts and I always have to force myself to focus. Add that with I've never written a five paragraph essay on time, yeah, um, a 'conclusion' seems out of reach.
