Nope, my craving hasn't kick start yet, just that folks surrounding us are being too considerate which landed us to this newly opened Singapore restaurant named, 'Momo-chacha'. Somehow, I came with the expectation that taste would be accustomed to local's tastebuds, indeed so. Besides I doubt many Singaporeans would pay $10 over for a plate of chicken rice or bak ku teh when these days convenient packed mixes are available in every supermarket. We are simply too practical for it. What was I told by the Taiwanese lady boss is that Japanese are having a liking towards our local delights that she along with a Malaysian chef who has been in Singapore for years joined venture into this. Wow! Anyone interested in setting up a Singapore f&b here?

We ordered jumbo chicken satay, which had that satay marinated flavor but peanut sauce lacked sweetness and just spicy. Can't comment about chicken rice as we only ordered half steamed chicken which looked alittle bit on yellowish side and half fried chicken. Laksa wise according to my hubby tasted like laksa and Vietnamese spring rolls which I do not know why it appears on the menu. Oh well, at least something tasted original, Tiger Beer! Can't beat that!
