Aluminum profile is aluminum materials of different cross-section shapes made of hot-melt and extruded aluminium profiles.

First, according to the purpose, aluminum profile can be divided into the following categories:

1. Window and door construction aluminum profiles (divided into two kinds: doors and windows, curtain walls).

2. Dedicated heat sink aluminum profile for CPU heat sink.

3. Aluminum alloy rack profile.

Their difference lies on different section shapes, but all of them are produced by hot melt and extrusion.

Second, according to alloy compositions, aluminum profile can be divided into:

1024, 2011, 6063, 061, 6082, 7075, and other alloy grade aluminum profiles, among which 6 series profiles are the most common. The difference of aluminum profiles in different grades lies in various metal components ratio. In addition to common used doors and Windows aluminum profile such as 60 series, 70 series, 80 series, 90 series, and curtain wall series these building aluminum profile, industrial aluminum profiles have no clear model distinction. Most manufacturing factories are processing in accordance with customers' actual drawings.

Third, according to surface treatment requirements, aluminum profiles can be divided into:

1. Anodic oxidation aluminum profile

2. Electrophoretic painting aluminum profile

3. Powder spraying aluminum profile

4. Wood grain transfer printing aluminum profile

5. Polished aluminium profile(divided into mechanical polishing and chemical polishing two kinds. Among them, chemical polishing cost most and its price is the most expensive)

Extrusion is a process used to create objects of a fixed, cross-sectional profile. A material is pushed or drawn through a die of the desired cross-section. The two main advantages of this process over other manufacturing processes are its ability to create very complex cross-sections and work materials that are brittle, because the material only encounters compressive and shear stresses. It also forms finished parts with an excellent surface finish.

Extrusion may be continuous (theoretically producing indefinitely long material) or semi-continuous (producing many pieces). The extrusion process can be done with the material hot or cold.
Commonly extruded materials include metals, polymers, ceramics, concrete and foodstuffs.

Through over 30 years' construction and development, www.jinlanaluminium.com has become into a comprehensive large size aluminum fabrication enterprise for its largest production scale, most advanced equipments, most full ranged product varieties in China. We established a production base for manufacturing aluminum profiles, aluminum sheet/foil, and plain carbon steel and galvanized steel etc, with RMB500 million investments.
