By quantitative, the decorative paper is divided into tissue paper (Quantitative≤30g/m2), Decorative paper (titanium oxide paper, Quantitative≥40 g/m2, mainly 70 ~ 120 g/m2)
Classified by use, there are:
1. Polaroid paper, paper printing wood, applicable for MDF, HDF, and plywood veneer, adhesive should be used when veneering, and finish processing is needed after veneering.
2. Gorgeous paper, the paper has been printed and finished, used for MDF, HDF, plywood veneer, adhesive should be used when veneering, no need for finishes after veneering, used in the place which has modest requirement for wear resistance.
3. Pre-paint paper, paper is printed with wood, dipped or coated with a small amount of resin, 20% to 60% resin, lower quantitative can be used for MDF veneering, and high quantitative is used for edge banding. The adhesives are needed for veneering, generally no finishing is needed after veneering and its wear resistance is higher than gorgeous paper.
4. Low pressure melamine impregnated paper, paper printed with wood, impregnated low pressure melamine resin has 130% to 150% resin, applicable for particleboard, MDF veneering, no glue is need for veneering, no finishing is needed after veneering. Abrasion is higher than pre-paint paper. The 70% to 100% resin ones are used for laminate flooring, wear resistance depends on the surface paper.
5. High pressure melamine impregnated paper; the paper is printed with wood, impregnated with high pressure melamine resin, 60% to 100% resin content, applicable for the manufacture of decorative laminates (HPL), the wear resistance depends on the surface paper.
