No Android smartphone has impressed me as much as the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. But it also carries an insane price tag of Rs. 50,000. Is any phone worth that?
What is it?
The third iteration of Samsung's popular phablet series, the Note 3 is the company's flagship handset. It's the only phone that's larger than 5 inches and comes with a stylus slot-Big screen phones. Naturally, it's loaded with top-of-the-line hardware and has a few cool software tweaks up its sleeve too. Over the past three years since introducing the first Note, Samsung has refined what a phablet should be, to a point where it's actually got things just right with the Note 3.
Who is it for?
Those who can afford it. Because there's just no reason to buy anything else if you can afford it.
Design
Samsung gets a lot of flak for its lack of design chops, the plastic builds, and blatantly copying Apple. Much of it is deserved, but with the Note 3, you see something different. It's the first time I would put a Samsung phone in the same league as any other when it comes to its look and feel.
