The Samsung Galaxy S4 rumor mill has been grinding for a couple of months already, but it’s not yet at full throttle, so there might still be a while until the “next big thing” will become official. But that shouldn’t stop us from talking about it, especially with rumors piling up-cheap quad core phone.

The latest news alert comes from GLBenchmark’s database, where a (not so) mysterious Samsung SHV-E300S has jumped through a couple of hardware test hoops for the first time. Although we’re not 100% certain about it, the E300S is said to be the Korean variant of the GS4 (elsewhere known as the GT-I9500 or the SGH-I337).

If this in fact proves to be the S4, the GLBenchmark listing is pretty much the classic good news – bad news scenario. Which one do you want first? Okay, let’s get the bad news out of the way.

Apparently, the S4 won’t be powered by the brand new eight-core Exynos 5 Octa CPU. Honestly, that’s not exactly a major shocker and it’s just one more reason to be excited about the next Galaxy Note, which will most definitely have that beast beneath its hood.
