'PUDDING' is a v.popular desert in Japan.. though it isn't the pudding that an average westerner
would imagine..
A Japanese pudding is.. something like a custard-tasting glob of jello with caramel sauce on top... can imagine that?
Anyway.
Just found this arcticle on Yahoo!JP that announced a new product
'Bucket full-o-pudding' (i think i did a good job translating this)
According to the arcticle, you can..
'By adding 1.6 liters of hot water (80℃) to the powder mix inside the bucket (bucket comes with kit),
then letting it cool in the fridge for 5-6 hours,
the pudding hardens, naturally separating itself with the caramel sauce (wow).
By flipping the bucket onto a plate, the pudding will come out under it's own weight.
Who would have thought of selling a product that can make 2L of pudding?
well..
This product was born from the idea of pudding-related products such as the 'pudding bath',
and plans are to develop chocolate-taste versions near Valentine's Day...'
And this is a pretty serious toy company that is selling this thing... did they seriously consider
marketing strategies?
such a strange country...
