First day to school yesterday~basically I can sum up the whole lecture with only one word~"MONEY"
yes, this is the main point of the whole lecture, and i was like O左咀~
first, she talked the potential of this industry...like how big this industry will be and how much u can earn in the future....um...i mean, all right, this is an opening. but if it lasts for an hour.......then isn't it too long?
then, in the self-introduction period, she taught us the way to meet different people is by brain-storming how his/her professions can benefit your work, like enlarging your social network and making profit out of it.........well, she is kinda right in some sense, but is it the only meaning by making "new friends"? it 's like all people she meets are merely a tool for profit-making.............frankly i think she's pretty pathetic
finally, without teaching any skills to be a sucessful wedding planner yet~she summed up the lecture by exlpaining how to set up your own company in the futur..........like what kinda funding u should apply, how to promote your brand, and where to get a bargaining price..........OMG! i'm not yet decided what path i'm heading now, and not to mention that this is only the first class!!!! what's was she thinking??
so i really don't get it! ALL it means is "money"?? i mean this is someone's wedding! It is the most memorable moment of their life! it's not only your business! i doubt how could she be a successful wedding planner if she looses the most fundamental point of a wedding......
but frankly she is pretty convincing in the class, for her presentation skill is indeed pretty good. And I think most of the students may find it "right"...........BUT NOT ME!!
anyway, i think i will go on with the classes, as i've paid the fee...and it's nothing to lose if i only learn those skills. it's useful no matter what, right? but her values really freak me out.....i wonder how could someone love to be a friend of her? everything in her eyes are money and business opportunity..........poor thing! poor thing! i pray someday u may find that life is more than money~
oh! i forget to mention~she studies accounts. does it mean anything to u? lol~
