Thanks for the valentine's day gift thingies.
It's so cold, I thought it was stay above freezing in February. It hasn't happened so far.

It's Fionnuala's party tomorrow. Looking forward to it.

Filipino parties are scary. I didn't know what half the food was. Actually, the only thing I recognized was the birthday cake. Happy Birthday Alleah! (If thats how you spell it, I have no idea)
I think me and my family stuck out a bit, everyone else there was filipino and speaking a different language. (Still got no idea what language it was) Apart from Kinga and Aggie who were speaking polish.
The party games were ok, but they were for the little kids. (There were LOADS of 1-5 yr olds) I'll upload photos tomorrow as I left my camera lead at my mum's house. #

Si Si Si
Oui Oui Oui

Don't forget Sian!!!

--------------------------------

Name pronounciation;
Sian - Sharn
Fionnuala - Fun-oola
Rhianne - Ree-an
Kayleigh - Kay-lee
Chloe - c-lo-ee
They're the harder ones to pronounce. The spelling doesn't really help people pronounce them. I have seen terrible mistakes, especially with Fionnuala's name.
The others aren't so hard because they are quite common names, so people all ready know how to pronounce them.(Not including mine, you normally get Rhianna's or Rhiannon's, I don't know any other Rhianne's)
Sorry, just trying to clear that up.
Another thing Japanese tend to miss out when speaking English, I have noticed, are the ends of some words and putting emphasis on the wrong word in a sentence.
If you put the emphasis on the wrong word, sometimes you can't get across what you really mean or can sometimes be considered rude.
I'm not a fine example of an English speaker though because I speak diferently depending on who I am speaking to. At home I speak 'common', I often do not pronounce my 't's in words like butter and water. And I pronounce my 'th's (only the 'th's and the beginnings of words though) and 'f's. E.g fink, fought etc. I will never use this speak anywhere else though because it doesn't sound very nice. (Don't ask)
When I am with my friends I speak very quickly. I mean quickly, too quickly. I also have a slight stutter. -.-

I have fallen out with my best friend...I got really lary last night to her on msn. I am glad though, because it has woken me up to how much of a self-centered bitch she really is. She was a chair monster today. She took my seat in two classes, forcing me to seperate from Chloe and Sian to the otherside of the room, even when they asked her to move. Ha, if she does anything to me after the holidays I am not going to hold back, I will tell her what I think face to face. LOLOL, she called me a cyber-bully because I told her that she was selfish.

Thank you Sian for always being there for me, even while this is going on... and Fionnuala, Nancy, Chloe, Kayleigh, Louise, Cicely, Alice and Harriet. <-- Without them I would be nothing. <3

I got my CD today...<3
