関西大学２年生の安田です。
さて、今日はUSCに行きました。
まず、３度目のSurveyを行いました。
Surveyにはどんどん慣れてきて、１回目、２回目に比べると多くのSurveyが回収できました。
私がSurveyを行った女性がクリーンピースのメンバーで、Surveyをやり終わった後、熱帯雨林破壊とイルカ漁について15分程度の話を聞きました。
英語のナチュラルスピードで話されたので、理解するのがかなり難しかったですが、個人的に現地の人とコミュニケーションがとれたのが嬉しかったです。
Surveyを行った後、エド先生の授業を受けました。
エド先生の授業は、アメリカの文化に関する内容でした。
アメリカ憲法、宗教、人種、銃、スポーツについてのお話でした。
今年の大統領選挙で話題となっている、モルモン教について詳しいお話を聞けて、とても興味深かったです。
明日もエド先生の授業の続きがあります。明日の授業ではアメリカの政治や司法、ドラッグなどについてお話してくださるそうなので今から楽しみです。

My name is Takamasa Yasuda.
Today, we went to USC.
At first, we made a survey.
The survey is the third time. Therefore I’ve been gradually accustomed to it and I’ve collected more papers of this survey than before.
A woman, who I spoke to, is a member of Greenpeace USA and talked about rain forests and dolphin drive fishing for about fifteen minutes.
Since she spoke English as fast as normal, I had difficulty listening to her talk. However I was happy to communicate with a native speaker.
After we made a survey, Mr. Ed gave us lessons in American culture.
He talked about Constitution of the United States, religion, race, guns, sports and so on.
He explained Mormonism, which Willard Mitt Romney, a candidate for President of USA, believe in. It is very interesting because I am interested in Politics.
Mr. Ed will give us lessons tomorrow, too. Tomorrow’s lessons’ subjects are Political system, Judicial part, drugs and so on. I am looking forward to his lecture.
