Carotid webに対して頸動脈内膜剥離術を施行した1例 : A case of carotid web treated with carotid endarterectomy.

 

長崎労災病院で活躍されている医師の論文が脳神経外科ジャーナルにacceptされました。
塞栓源不明の脳塞栓症（Embolic Stroke of Undetermined Source：ESUS）の原因の一つとして近年重要視されているcarotid webに対し、
早期に外科介入することの重要性を指摘しています。
