というニュースがきのう飛び込んできました。
それに関するCNNの報道を少しみていきます。

Public broadcaster NHK has reported that
former Prime Minister Yoshiro Mori is stepping down from
his current role amid a firestorm of criticism
after he made sexist remarks about women,
which were leaked to the media.
He did issue an apology and he also retracted his statements,
but he didn't go as far as to resign.
ここで下線を引いたのは動詞付きフレーズ。
なぜかというと、動詞ってめちゃめちゃ重要だからです。
名詞がわかっていてもそれとマッチする動詞が思い出せないと
話せないですよね。
こうやって短いニュースをちょっと紙に書き出してみて
動詞フレーズだけをピックアップしてみる。
意味がわからなければ意味を調べる。
数回声にだして覚える。
おしまい。
こんな練習も積み重ねていくと有効かもしれませんね。
